About Me
Originally from the UK, I’ve called the Charleston area home since 2015. Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, beginning with studying fine art and photography at school and continuing as a photojournalist for the Durham University newspaper.
I love working with people of all ages and aim to make every session feel fun, relaxed and natural. My background as a Speech and Language Therapist, along with raising four children of my own, has given me a special ability to connect with children, put them at ease and capture their genuine personalities.
My love of photography began in the darkroom, but today I’m happiest behind my camera in the beautiful natural light of the Lowcountry. From the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island to the parks of Mount Pleasant and historic streets of downtown Charleston, I feel incredibly lucky to have such beautiful backdrops for my work.
Whether I’m photographing a family, a graduating senior or a preschooler, my goal is always the same: to create light, natural and timeless images that capture real connections and the little moments you’ll want to remember.
I would love the opportunity to capture some of yours.
